Termitero started as the name for our bioconstruction project we started in 2018 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. It became our family project that involves much more. 

Inspired by permaculture and agroecology principles we aim to become an example in modern day (sub-) urban self sufficiency and a sustainable lifestyle.

On this site we posted the development of the first building (Module A), we want to share also the building process of Module B and have all sort of plans for e-books, courses, and spinn offs, but well, time can only be spent once… so many of this ideas are still to take shape. However…

In 2025 we continue with an initiative that enables us to use the diverse and abundant plants and fruit trees we have growing in and around our home. On the adjecent lot we establish a nursery to grow more plants and seedlings, to help make Santa Cruz a little bit more green!
